For SLA and MJP systems, collections such as VisiJet or TDS Daylight Castable deliver clean burnout with minimal thermal expansion and ash content below 0.18%, ensuring smooth metal surfaces during investment casting.

For direct metal casting in jewelry making, dedicated castable resins such as JCAST-GRN 10 or 3D Systems wax and castable formulations are recommended. These photopolymers burn evenly through staged temperatures, leaving negligible ash and preventing mold cracking. For non-cast master models or design verification, standard prototyping resins can also be used depending on whether direct investment casting or rubber molding is needed.
